We are all surrounded by data, be it weather reports, advertisements, news, everything is based on the research and analysis of data. Class 6 maths Chapter 9 will help kids study various ways in which data can be organized to interpret the results. This chapter will also discuss various ways in which data can be displayed such as graphs, pictographs, and bar graphs. In this chapter, students will also learn why it is important to organize data. When we collect data it is in the raw form which cannot be studied and interpreted. Hence we have to organize this data based on our requirements. One of the quickest ways to arrange data is by representing them in tabular form using tally marks.
