- By the end of this course, students will be able to: Understand the concept of government and its functions: Students will have a clear understanding of the definition, functions, and importance of government in society. Identify different forms of government: Students will be able to recognize and describe different forms of government, such as democracy, monarchy, dictatorship, and oligarchy. Explain the principles of democracy: Students will understand the key principles of democracy, including rule of law, equality, justice, participation, and representation. Analyze the structure and functions of government: Students will be able to identify the three branches of government (legislative, executive, judicial) and their roles and responsibilities. Understand the rights and responsibilities of citizens: Students will be aware of the fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as their civic duties and responsibilities. Evaluate the effectiveness of different forms of government: Students will be able to assess the strengths and weaknesses of different forms of government and their impact on society.
